Since 2008, Calgary Reptile Parties has provided quality educational reptile programming for birthday parties, events, schools, PD day, winter break, spring break & summer camps, and more. Thousands of people of all ages have met our amazing animals, such as jumping geckos, colorful snakes, friendly dragons, multi-legged millipedes, furry tarantulas, huge boa constrictors, and more while learning about the lives and care of these amazing animals! As Licensed Family Paws Parent Educators, we are trained in the dynamics between dogs and children. Our goal is to help prepare your dog for the arrival of your baby and support you and your dog as your child grows and progresses through their milestones. We aim to build the relationship between your dog and child as they grow.

Aliki’s Art House – a space and place where everyone can learn how to draw and have fun! Aliki’s proven sequential and progressive system teaches students how to draw in a variety of styles from realistic to abstract, while exploring a wide range of art materials. Learning how to draw will help improve a student’s concentration, attention, visual skills, problem-solving, and creativity. Our teachers are artists who are passionate about art education. Calgary Young People’s Theatre is proud to present our exciting lineup of Fall and Winter Drama Classes for youth ages four to 17! Join us as we explore exciting theatrical techniques and skills through various dramatic exercises and games. Our classes provide a unique opportunity for kids to build confidence and teamwork skills, all while having fun!

Qualified and experienced art education instructors tailor their guidance to each participant's needs, skill level, and artistic goals. Kids learn about drawing, sketching, color, texture and shading while experimenting with a variety of techniques and art materials like paint and pastels. Kids are encouraged to delve into their imagination to develop their own personal style as they develop confidence and ability whether they are a beginner or have previously acquired skills. All art materials are supplied. Ages five to 12 years.

Dance classes and camps for youth ages two to 18. DJD offers something most other dance studios don’t – a fun, non-competitive environment – which means the focus of our classes is on learning to love dance, not learning specific moves for a recital.

Dance is serious fun at Free House Dance Plus where we welcome, engage, and inspire all ages – kids, teens, and adults. With a credible reputation in the dance community spanning 35 years, our professional instructors provide everyone with a fun, educational, high-calibre, and safe dance experience. Jazz, tap, ballet, modern, hip hop, musical theatre, lyrical, acrodance, flamenco, Bollywood, Latin styles, dance beats, aerial fusion, Zumba, Yamuna body rolling, west African drumming, and more!

We offer kids PD day art camps and week-long spring and summer camps. Kids summer art camps have a full curriculum of art education at Glendale Community Hall with even more indoor and outdoor space. Many different mediums and activities.

Welcome to Stagecoach where we offer the best performing arts curriculum for kids ages four to 18. Our goal is to develop the potential of young people with our singing, acting and dancing lessons, stimulating imagination and building self-confidence.

We also provide a year-round Theatre School for children ages six to 18, which is designed to develop acting skills, self-confidence, teamwork, and stagecraft abilities.

Vin Gogh Paint Sip Studio is for creating and connecting. We offer Paint Nights for all skill levels. Come for date nights, girls nights out, or a fun family outing. Our artist will take you through step by step. We also offer paint-your-pet events for all ages, paint-at- home kits for order and painting for mom. Get creative with your favorite people! You keep the art, we clean up the mess!  

Creating confident young women in your community. Bethel 23 Job’s Daughters is a youth leadership group for girls ages ten to 20 years. We help girls grow and learn life skills, such as leadership, teamwork, community service, public speaking, and self-confidence in a supportive environment to become leaders of tomorrow. We encourage fun, friendship, leadership, love of family and country, community service, scholarship opportunities, and self-confidence.

At Between Friends, we offer social and recreational programs for people with disabilities to connect, grow, and belong.

With actors, storytellers, and more, our one-hour Symphony Sundays for Kids concerts are a perfect way to introduce little ones to the orchestra.

Private Lessons: At Chinook School of Music, students of all ages enjoy lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin, cello, flute, ukulele, drums, saxophone, and theory in-studio, online, and in- home settings. Music Kids is Chinook School of Music’s early childhood music program for ages six months to five years. Our modern approach to music education integrates scientific research supporting the positive role that music plays on brain development. Classes incorporate singing, movement, and instrument play. Children experience a joyful and nurturing learning environment while developing fundamental music skills.

Music lessons for every age, level, and style. At Long & McQuade, we believe every person is capable of acquiring the skills and knowledge required to make playing a musical instrument a rewarding activity. The Mount Royal University Children’s Choirs seek to educate and develop the musicianship of our singers while also exposing them to the creative and imaginative possibilities that performing arts can provide.

Programs include private lessons, group classes, orchestras, ensembles, choirs and advanced performance-based programs. Sing! Dance! Act! Youth Singers of Calgary (YSC) is a vibrant performing arts company and an exceptional education program that encompasses singing, dancing, and theatre arts for ages three-and-a-half to adult. We also offer performing arts-based PD-day, spring, and summer camps for Grades 1 to 6, as well as programming for those with cognitive delays. No matter your age or musical experience, YSC has a program for you. 

Apollo Taekwon-Do is a dynamic martial arts school dedicated to teaching traditional ITF Taekwon-Do in a modern, supportive environment. 

We offer a selection of activities and programs to complement one another, meaning there is a suitable program for any age group.

Just Keep Swimming teaches children and adolescents with mild to moderate neurological and developmental disabilities to swim confidently, play safely, and enjoy the water. 

Keep the kids active in the pool with group swim lessons starting at four months or check out private lessons offering a more customized approach. For more advanced swimmers, check out our Sea Dragons Swim and Lifesaving Clubs or older kids may be ready to train to become a lifeguard. In our Active Living program, preschoolers ages two to five will learn through hands-on activities in all areas of our spacious facility – gym, pool, park, and classroom. PD Camps keeps kids ages five to 12 busy exploring different sports and games, plus some time in the pool during those days off from school. New this winter, Active Energizers, is a six-week program designed with inclusivity in mind for children ages five to 12 and of all abilities.

Rocky Mountain Diving Club (RMDC) offers recreational Learn-to-Dive and, pre-competitive programs for all ages. Our goal is to provide quality technical springboard and platform diving instruction at the introductory level in a safe, controlled, and fun environment. We incorporate trampoline and dry board training, as well as dry land strength and flexibility conditioning into all lessons.

Looking for exciting ways to keep your kids active and engaged? Trico Centre has it all! Make a splash in our wave pool, run, jump, and play in our gymnasium, or hit the ice in our rinks. We offer a fantastic lineup of children’s programs and summer camps, including skating, swimming, dance, sports, and our social Skill Builder courses. Active Living, part of the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary, offers a range of health and wellness programs, facilities, and educational opportunities designed to inspire lifelong active lifestyles for everyone.
