Storytime is a bedtime staple in most homes, a time to spark imagination and share healthy discourse between children and parents. But the season offers a unique opportunity to switch up the tales you read and focus on the magic of the holidays as winter settles in around us.
When the weather outside turns frightful, our family loves to cuddle up and watch a holiday-themed movie or television show. Here are some of our favorites to share with your own family!
Sandy Beach Park, Glenmore Dam Wilds, & Altadore, SW
Connecting neighborhoods on foot is my favorite way to get to know a city. This route travels across pedestrian bridges, along regional pathways, and then detours on shortcut community pathways and stairways tucked in between houses to tasty destinations in Marda Loop and Altadore.
Board games are my family’s “thing.”
Whenever we have downtime, you can find us at the kitchen table cracking open a box, digging out the pieces, laying out the board, shuffling the cards, and putting our game faces on.
